About Code of Criminal Procedure ( CrPC), 1973:
The Code of Criminal Procedure commonly called Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) is the main legislation on procedure for administration of substantive criminal law in India. It was enacted in 1973 and came into force on 1 April 1974. It provides the machinery for the investigation of crime, apprehension of suspected criminals, collection of evidence, determination of guilt or innocence of the accused person and the determination of punishment of the guilty. It also deals with public nuisance, prevention of offences and maintenance of wife, child and parents.

Further, power of police ensures at maintaining harmony in law and order, ensuring procedure for investigation being followed under crpc 1973.
An investigation is an important segment of criminal procedure. The first step after a crime is committed or information received by a police officer about the commission of an offence is “investigation.” The purpose is to identify the offender and proceed him for trial so as to serve him with punishment as per the provisions of the Code. Section 156 of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973 .confers powers on police officers to investigate cognizable cases. In Non Cognizable cases, the police officer has no authority to investigate without warrant and has to obtain a warrant under Section 155 (2) of the Code.

Highly unprofessional and fraudulent behavior. Lawtendo took advance and didn't deliver on promised services or refund the amount. The task given to them was simple rudimentary task, they are not even capable of accomplishing that. I don't trust Lawtendo or beware of taking there services because of following reasons -

- They take advance and delay the job and after some time stop
responding. Seems like a standard operating procedure.
- Incapable of executing simple legal tasks. Can not expect them to
deliver on slightly complex legal matters.
- Founder Shrijay Suratkal is not responding to any communication,
pointing to ethical issues in company business dealings.
