The New Frontier in Diabetes: Circadian Syndrome and Type 1.5

Показать описание
The circadian syndrome is implicated in type 2 diabetes mellitus and cardiovascular diseases. Researchers have found that disturbances in circadian rhythm are associated with metabolic syndrome and associated disorders, such as sleep disturbances, depression, and cognitive dysfunction.
Type 1.5 diabetes, also called latent autoimmune diabetes in adults (LADA), is a subgroup of type 1 diabetes that is often misdiagnosed due to the lack of both awareness and standardized diagnostic criteria. Therefore, its diagnosis and management can be challenging, especially for young practitioners.
In this regard, Docplexus has organized a re-run of the exclusive session held at the 5th International Diabetes Summit, organized by the Chellaram Diabetes Institute in association with Docplexus as its official knowledge partner.
In this session, Dr. Paul Zimmet and Dr. Juliana Chan will share their insights on “The New Frontier in Diabetes: Type 1.5”
