But they are also extremely compassionate and caring. There have been reports of injured buffalo i.e. broken leg and they put the injured in the middle and protect them. They also have great personalities and a sense of humor! Still not to be screwed with, just appreciated...from a far!

Actually, they are most dangerous when separated from the herd. A few weeks ago, on Ngong Hills here in Kenya, we had to wait for armed game rangers to get us past a section of the trail where a separated bull had been seen fuming that morning

The clip of the herd running is so majestic. Especially when you consider their size. I can’t imagine seeing that in real life.
