I think the actual meaning of the song is that this was a relationship that came to an end and the boys want to move on and be free, but the girls are still in their own world so they try to revive it and make it seem like it still is going. 💟

My theory was that the women couldn't live without the men so they killed them. Jiwoo was a sociopath so she kept calm while Somin did drugs to cope with what she did and when they wore off she lost it but idk your theory makes more sence

i think somin and jiwoo killed them. but not literally. since apego means addiction or obsession, i think they were both too obsessed with their loved ones which caused their 'death'.

bm and j.seph turning into zombie like people could symbolise the loss of love they once had for the other partner but because of the obsession, they couldn't handle it anymore.

idk how to explain it but yeah.

jiwoo and somin realise it and that's probably why jiwoo was fixing his tie, to make it like they both still love each other but they both don't.

somin looks crazy when she finally realises something towards the end. that's when she realised his love for her was gone bc of her actions and she laughs crazily bc the obsession took too much of a toll on her, she doesn't want to believe it's true

To be honest, this MV was way better than the rest. Also some parts of the choreography matched with DON’T RECALL, HOLA HOLA, RUMOR and Oh NaNa. That was the most interesting part. But I’m proud of them. They did great!

I thought just by the video that the boys didn't feel anymore for the girls and the relationship was dead, and Somin finally realizes but she can't believe it and tries to latch onto the dead relationship and Jiwoo is the same and just wants to cling on. And they both giver two different relationships but still the same ending.

Sounds like a pretty solid theory. The people in the comments section of the MVs were just looking at the visual clues in the MV, totally ignoring the lyrics.

This is probably the theory KARD was going for BUT I'd like to think of our KARD boys actually being dead and our KARD girls are actually holding on to them, because they don't want to live without them (lyrics: I need you in my life). So they start continuing life with their corpses. That theory is so much more cooler and edgy in my opinion :)

Was it only me that thought the mv was about murder and that the 2 girls were so delusional to know they were keeping and acting out on a dead body....

Am I the only one that took the MV and the meanings too seriously? I took it so seriously I cant enjoy the song without thinking of all the theories, deep meanings, aspects that could happen and vice versa 😂

I just think that they’re examples of toxic relationships.

That was so deep.

My theory was that the girls were obsessed (clingy) with the guys, while they were no longer feeling the relationship. The zombies were a metaphor of how dead they felt because of the forced relationships.

But by now I have seen so many theories and they all make sense, which just goes to show that it can be interpreted differently by different people.

I think several actions and lines in the lyrics have a double meaning, The guys are talking about the feeling of their relationship and its feeling dead. The girls can not let go of their beloved one and all of them feels like they are coming to the end of their relationship and the girls cant handle that so they kill their loved ones so they will stay forever instead of letting them go. This is both literally meant and emotionally, atleast thats my theory. The lyrics is reflecting back like what u see in the video already happened.

Also some people say "you have too much apego" or things like that when you have this affection (what apego means), that is as big as being kinda obsesive. Another thing they say it's like "te apegas a las cosas" that means that you can't let go something (not literally, but it's a way to explain it)

"Why do we always hurt the ones we love the most?" deep reflection 😭

I just literally thought they were dead. I thought Jiwoo was in denial because she couldn't live without Jseph, which also leads to apego. Then I thought Somin knew BM was dead, but she lived in her own fantasy, BM's death making her go insane. Both of the girls couldn't let them go

I got a little emotional with your explanation omg a tear came out😭

I think and I've seen reactors have the same thought. Is that simply put the guys feel like the relationship is dead while the women are in love and don't wanna let them go. So them being dead in the video is a metaphor, because they feel dead and are just going through the motions.
