Lola's normally-happy puppy face at 11:01 (while Kaylee was learning to drive stick) "Oh please, when will this end?"

You both are around my daughter's age (and I'm 65) so forgive me for calling you ""kids." But you kids are such a spark of positive energy that I always have a smile on my face when I'm watching your videos. I get what you're wanting to do by keeping the name, Nomadic Movement, because I'm sure you've inspired a movement. I was already on board with the idea before I came upon the videos by yourselves and Trent and Allie and Eamon and Bec. While I don't know if I'll have the ability to travel down to Central America, I would definitely be interested in Bogete, Panama. I'm still recovering from a massive heart attack but it hasn't deterred me from packing up all my possessions to sell or give away or repurpose in my own van. I'm weeks away from getting my own ProMaster 3500 with the extended 159" WB, but I won't have funds or supplies to make it the way I want it for awhile. I'll be repurposing a lot of bookshelves for cabinetry or walls or flooring, but I already know how I want to put it all together. I've started my own YouTube channel, as you know, and a Facebook page for Gospel Gypsy Caravan, and you kids have inspired me with just what I'll need for my own full time van life. I'm really looking forward to being a part of the "Nomadic Movement" because of your influence. Even though I'm an old lady, I still feel like I did back in the 1960's when I was a hippie with a guitar and floppy hat and tie dyed shirt and jeans and huarache sandals. I still love to sing and write songs and cook heart-healthy vegan meals, and write more books. I've got six books out on Amazon already and I've started a couple of Cafe Press stores to supplement my meager social security income. So far, I've planned to visit friends in Orlando (I'm starting from Fort Lauderdale) and Georgia and the Carolinas--we have plans to tour the Biltmore mansion during the Downton Abbey exhibit, and then I'm off to Washington DC to experience the cherry blossoms in bloom before heading over to Missouri to visit the great-granddaughter of "Molly" Brown (of RMS Titanic fame) who in turn will hook me up with some storm chasers in Oklahoma. Not sure where the highway will lead me after that! But I hope you'll share in my adventures as I've shared in yours. So, keep the Nomadic Movement name, and if you want to upgrade to a better camera, go for it! I only wish I had better than an analog phone and tablet to make my videos. As for the blender, I have a Nutri Bullet that I rarely use, an immersion blender and a regular blender which has a small food processing attachment. If it works, keep it--if it's not working for you, trade it for something that will. I love that you want to include us in the decisions, but I think you already know what you need to do without our input. <3

What a fantastic and understanding dad you have. Not everyone got parents like that. Be grateful❤️👍

I'm on the exact opposite of this process. I'm almost done with getting my house ready to sell and my bus conversion is 90% done. Few weeks for me too! kinda scary, kinda liberating. after 8 months of working on crap, I'm just ready to be done. Good luck on your community and I really hope it works out!! And I'm glad you're keeping your name. Its your creativity that started this channel and adventure and your creativity that gave you that name. Keep rollin guys!!

Hey there! As a homeowner I would definitely WAIT before you do anything on the land. I've seen folks jump in and do upgrades before the signing and the deal didn't go through and then they were sued for damaging the property.
It will be so worth the wait, but really consider waiting till the papers are signed.
You could take this time to go exploring, drawing out your design of the land over and over and simply take time to rest all goes well, you both will be working hard for a very, very long time.
I say this with Love and from someone who has been a homeowner for 19 years in the same house.
Better to "err on the side of caution."
And Jordon, your Daddy is a wonderful human! Would love to see him more often.
Much love to both of you!

Keep the name! I would love to come down and experience the new digs and share my knowledge of gardening and canning/freezing your veggies etc. Make some salsa from scratch!

Yahoo! Happy for you. So cool of Doug to join you. I love waking up and having a new report from the Nomadic Movement to watch. PS 2020 eclipse can also be seen from Arkansas. Buy your #14 welder's glass now. Smile.

Local supplier had only #13 left when I thought to check them out before heading to Nashville, TN for last great eclipse viewable from the U.S. Did you guys get to experience it? Awesome, wonderful -- there are no words to describe how amazed I was by the changes in nature brought about by darkening of the sun during the day. The birds and insects sang and it got cooler.

I think it's great that your Dad came down to help you build. I guess that means he's putting his stamp of approval on the whole idea! That's great! I hope everything goes smoothly for you from here on out! Get those barrels ready for the rainy season!! LOL

I was thinking that as you progress on your homestead you might want to consider the sloped area as a natural amphitheater for teaching or music or whatever.
