What I find it funny is that people sell stuff cheaper than the price they can sell to NPC merchants sometimes.

I've been buying an items from a NPC for less than 300 gil and selling it on the market board for 10k for over a year. I sell 6 to 10 a day. The NPC I buy from is standing next to the market board. -.- I'll never understand our economy either.

People are lazy or unaware. Exploit this and you will come out on top everytime. I buy terebrinth and other dyes off npc's and they always sell for profits. Different per server of course, but give it a look and you'll be surprised.

Yesterday i was checking dyes and some poor unfortunate soul placed on market 2 pure white dyes which normally sell around 300k for 1 piece and he listed 2 of those for 2 gil.

I remember when I was a sprout I searched dresses on the market board. Bought bridesmaid dress only to find out later that it can be bought from npc like 3 times cheaper.
Back then I thought "Who would put up on sale things that can be bought from npc" so never googled alternatives. Now my usual routine is to stockpile those goddamn dresses and sell at npc price to save all those innocent sprouts from losing money as I did.

this happen in Lost Ark as well. for some reason, the full set coffer would actually sell for less than selling each piece by itself. I can only guess that some people didnt know they can buy the coffer

Some people don't want to buy the coffeer for the whole set that's why. If they only need the pants for the glam they trying to get they will buy the pants XD. Trust me to anybody new here the market is very easily red.... I make 1 mil a day just from market due to easy reading lol

Back in the Stormblood and Heavensward days I used Mutamix to make many many millions of Gil. The economy of that game can be insane but I think Shadowbringers ultimately killed what was a thriving economic mechanic. Cross world market boards are probably some of the worst things ever concocted.
