I really liked predictive text but lately the suggestions all seem taken from current event news feeds, even if I reset the keyboard. 😕 I wish this video had helped.

How do I remove words that are still in the iPhone dictionary even after a reset? Particularly misspelled words because of geographic location. “Yea” keeps popping up. I don’t know what that even means. PetrolSpy pops up a lot I have never used that term till today. I cannot say this arvo it always changes it to Agro another word I have never used. Booring becomes boating is boating even real what does that mean I go sailing in my boat but not boating?

iPhone is still 10 years behind android and android’s version of swift key. It is sad for me as I use iPhone daily. On android you just hold a wrong word on the top bar of the keyboard and there is an option to remove it.

Unfortunately this doesn’t work for me when typing real words… If I type possessive, I always manually add apostrophes. If I mean plural, I don’t. My phone never learns this, and unfortunately it doesn’t ignore it when in shortcuts if it has an s at the end. This really screws me over. I’ve never once typed Allie’s aside from the few times I’ve complained about autocorrect being an idiot, yet it for some reason always corrects allies to it. I’m typing friendly soldiers, not a woman’s possession… I type allies on a day to day basis in Rise of Kingdoms, why does my phone not freaking learn!?

I have done this, but I still get a misspelled word (the same one) after I have done the reset, be suggested. I live in New Braunfels, TX but at sometime I accidentally must have given a spelling of Braunfsels to my iPhone. It STILL gives this as a suggestion when I am typing my address. Noticed most often in Messages. iOS 15.2 - iPhone 12 Max. Really pushes my CDO button. TIA
