Vitosha Kopitoto - Night Timelapse | Sofia, Bulgaria

Vitosha Mountain TV Tower, better known as Kopitoto after the rock outcrop it stands on, is a 186-metre tall TV tower built of reinforced concrete on Vitosha Mountain near Sofia, Bulgaria.

There used to be a very convenient cabin lift, but broke down in 1992 and since then the easiest way to reach Kopitoto area is by car. There you get the whole city of Sofia spread under your feet. If that’s not enough one can even take a peek at the nearby city of Pernik.

Few days ago we went there with idea to capture night sky above Sofia, but TV Tower happened to be way more attractive for Timelapse
