I see Sera and Cole as some of the most unique game characters I've ever played with. Sera is quirky and funny, and I see Cole as a better version of Secret Santa: he sees purpose in helping people, and doesn't mind when no one remembers him, nor that they sometimes dont notice that they were helped (This revelation that Cole burnt turnips in the fireplace...just to give a soldier a smell of his favourite family dish as he died brought tears to my eyes).

She was too... crazy at 1st but I took a chance and romanced her. It was a blast. the more I understand her, the more I like her. I've never experienced such romance in any games, or movies. Good job Bioware!

I think the problem here is that everyone's defining a 'good' character all differently. Some people really dislike Sera, which is fine. Some people absolutely love her. Also fine. But at the end of the day, it doesn't matter if Bioware created a likable character or not. They've already got plenty of those anyway (looking at you, Dorian. Bull. Josephine.) The only thing that matters is whether or not her character was well-developed and really fleshed out. I felt like it was, and I think even some of her biggest critics would probably agree with me there. The bard could've written a song about anyone, and yet she chose Sera. Not because she's an upstanding, goody toe shoes, but because she's made a bit of a name for herself. I don't plan on getting into the hows and whys on the song being written (ie bias because of romantic feelings or the like), but the fact that Bioware even thought to have this backstory and depth proves that she's a well-rounded character. They breathed life into Sera, and no matter you're opinion, you've got to have some respect for that.

Sera, oh Sera... She might be the best videogame character I know. She is just perfectly written... She is weird and funny and that never leaves but when you start to know her better a more deeper side of her is revealed. She is just perfect. Who ever created her and wrote her lines is truly a great person... This is the first time in a long time when I really fell in love with a fictional character.

Sera is my favorite companion in the entirety of the Dragon Age franchise. I thought she was crazy when I first met her, but I decided that my female elf Inquisitor would romance her anyways because I was intrigued by Sera's quirky personality. I'm grateful that I did because there's a depth to her that I didn't realize was there and, on a personal level, I connected with her because I *get* where she's coming from and how she feels about things.

It's a little difficult to explain it, but her tavern song has the single best piece of advice I've ever indirectly received, "Why change the past when you can own today?"

Hated Sera when I first played Inquisition many years back, but I recently sat down to play it again, and I’m mildly surprised I kinda like her now.
She rocks the red of Highever Weave so much. Slap on an Elven hood, and BAM, she looks bomb!

I must say, Dragon Age Inquisition has a great music. Both the themes and the bard songs are extremely well done. I'm enjoying the sound part of the game very much so far :)

I love how people either completely love her or absolutely hate her. I haven't seen a person in between at all xD
I personally adore her, her character's fun and well-written and she isn't the usual seriousness you have with other companions. I always take her wherever I go and I just love the banter with her.

These songs are all great, but I really like this one in particular, something about the rhythm is so nice. I can picture people dancing around and spilling their big ass mugs of beer.
