how to replace brother labels on existing spool. a tutorial video changing out empty labels with a new roll. The brother printer is great, and this is a great way to save on labels, just change them out.

I was really confused about watching a couple of you cut the roll off or use water to get the roll off. I did not need to do this. I skipped that step, and just applied some pressure and took the end off with my hands, and then changed the roll once I noticed that's all you did to disassemble it once the roll was off.

I'd suggest everyone skip the useless steps and just take the end off and change the roll. 💃

The folks struggling to get the spool apart due to the glue, I found that pouring acetone (nail varnish remover) around the join, then wiggling it a bit, worked a treat. Was able to get the end off quite easily once the glue bond was broken.

The spool was insanely hard to get apart - I wanted to throw the piece against the wall. I eventually got the spool apart after a few hand injuries. Bad product design. Thanks for your video!

You should point out that the original spool "IS Glued" together. Making it MUCH harder to break the parts apart. One needs to grasp both ends carefully and firmly "before" you attempt to break them apart. Once this part is done, it can be repeated many times, for new rolls. Of course, the Original Roll is "stuck together", to make you believe that you must buy their product. But, don't worry, you will be just fine, with a little care.

its tough, but if you put your thumb at the top of the right hand side piece that looks like an "exclamation mark" (near the green bit on mine, and two fingers inside the support and lever it upwards it pops out

that side is glued though.. was anyone able to get it off without breaking? This is the most scummy greedy practice fueled by corporate greed. No care for environmental waste whatsoever if i knew about this I would never have purchased this product

Hello, I would really appreciate any help.. I have many many rolls which are white on both sides, with QL-700 worked good but brother ql-820NWB showing on display: "paper in the roll cannot be fed, set the roll correctly" ... any help please ??
