My daughter is running a 2060 on a 1080p 144hz monitor playing boulder's gate, overwatch and monster hunter and is perfectly happy with her GPUs performance right now.

I have a 4070 super arriving today, the 2060 has served me very well at 2k high fps

I still have a 2060. It's been running everything I want to (minus the unoptimized early access games). And I don't plan to change it until I can have a budget CPU that performs like a 12700k and a budget GPU that performs like a 3070.

The 2060 felt like such a beast when it came out. A 60 class card on par with the last gen 80 class. Imagine if the 5060 was as powerful as a 4080? Unthinkable.

DLSS is really a clutch way to extend a card's lifespan. Something like 2080 can still do 1440p/medium with DLSS Quality, 6 years after it came out, with a new console gen inbetween.

Had my 2060 Super since 2019, been using it for 1440p gaming for about 3 years now, it's got no problems handling things but i feel like it's starting to show its age ever so much. Thinking of upgrading to a 4070 super soon

Had my rtx 2060 till last week and I blasted through re4r and cyberpunk 2077 just fine with playable fps. For me putting mesh/model quality and texture on medium/high and then just put all the shadow to low would give me solid fps, but I had to replace it cause I don't think it can play AAA games in the future.

I actually think it is always interesting to see how older GPUs perform in a lot of games and think it is really cool to see it

i still have a 2060 installed on my pc and it's running everything i want perfectly fine, i play many optimized games with hight settings so it's all good for now, maybe next year will suprise us with newer and more demanding games which will infact make me wanna upgarde to a 40 series card or maybe a newer gen if that's the case

Hi Daniel, I appreciate you making a video centered around users who are stuck with the last gen specifically to this card 2060 6GB, given the fact that the recent releases of video cards in the budget or midrange are not delivering price to performance ratio brand new, so we know where we stand. Thank you for always making videos like these.

I love these bemchmark, threshold videos and your clear ability to relay the messages throughout.

We need more teacher types that understand the tech

Was looking into this card today. I could probably just manage with this gpu

My previous GPU was a 2060 Super. Slightly faster than a 2060 and more VRAM. It was pretty decent.

The problem was I play pretty much only single-player graphics intensive games, and I use a 1440P ultrawide OLED monitor. So you can see I had to completely rely on DLSS and turning down settings in almost everything.

When the 40-series launched I upgraded to a 4090 (alongside an entire new build to go with it). Now I can actually play my games instead of playing with settings. Screw that crap. Couldn't be more satisfied. :)

2060 was my first GPU i bought myself while doing my first self built PC. That card was given more shit than it deserved just because the base 2080 and 2070 were letdowns. The 2060 is legitimately as fast as a GTX 1080 and i dont think people till this day even realize that and just compare the whole Turing line up to the 1080 Ti. It’s held up well even with the 6gb of vram and the DLSS comes in clutch. I sure as hell dont have one anymore but my friends have some and theyre definitely goated and held up strong during the mining crazy

Incredible video card. I had been using the RTX 2060 with my i7 8700 16gb ram on Windows 10 since 2018 and was still able to play most games at high to ultra settings with no problems. It was CYBERPUNK 2077 which had me using medium and high settings only until 2023 when more games kept me away from ultra settings like STARFIELD and TOTAL WAR WARHAMMER III. Its a beast of a card and even allowed me to play at 1440p with a mix of ultra and high settings for every game before 2023.

I just upgraded to a RTX 3080 12gb vram and a i9 12900 k with 32gb ram on Windows 11 Home Edition after seeing your video on the possible tariff on China finally occurring after being delayed for years which prompted my brother who is in I.T. to get me the upgrade i had been planning for over a year looking up parts/pricing to build the system and paying for the parts where i will pay him back over the next few months. So now my previous pc is sitting on the side as a emergency back up which i know i can rely on to play my favorite games from 2023 and earlier while looking forward to play upcoming games like SPACE MARINE 2, ZEPHON, THE WANDERING REALMS etc on my new pc.

Thanks Daniel Owen for the always informative and extremely helpful videos and Happy Computing! ☕

I love entry level gpu revisit videos. Can you do other cads as well? 3050, 6600, 6600xt, 6700xt, 3060ti and more?

that part you mentioned about comparing 2060, 3060 & 4060 together. i guess we can all agree that it would be interesting to see
