This is great advice. I'm a IT tech in a medium sized company and I have a lot of users who don't make any attempt to try to troubleshoot and I would really like to start sending this video to people. They don't google, they don't reboot, nothing. The second something doesn't work the way they expect, they log a ticket. And that's fine because as I always tell people when they first start in our company, I don't expect you to do your own tech support - that's why I'm here. But at the same time, being able to do a bit of basic troubleshooting and research yourself is a useful skill. A ticket that can be resolved simply by me telling a person to reboot probably didn't need to be logged in the first place for instance.

Thank you, thank you! I get so nervous around todays technology, I start to sweat, no joke, just making a phone call.. Today I was preparing to join a Zoom meeting for tomorrow. I had it pretty much figured out but was still so nervous. I can't say how, but suddenly your face popped up and you were explaining how it all works. Beautiful, AFTER I worked my way trough. But one Youtube led to another(yours)
and you have given me the determination to learn more . I only wish I was a youngster instead of being 80, but I still love learning new stuff and am so glad I was at least able to experiment some of this fabulous technology. I'm an interior design stylist & have never had to use apps or tech for my work as I've always been a person show.
Today I have a googlemeets meeting (that's new too!) & the new company 'm starting with tomorrow is going to
show me how to use something called airtable.
I downloaded it onto my phone, but I don't even know where to go from there!
I'm trying not to be worried that these younger people I'm meeting with are gooing to think I'm an idiot or that I don't get it right away.
