This is my bestfriend's favorite song. He died 21 years ago, etong kanta yung pinatugtog sa funeral niya. Tumawag nanay niya a month after ng funeral niya and told me to come to their house. So I did, then binigay niya yung boxes puno ng love letters. Nakita ko name ko sa letter. Lahat ng letters were for me. Nalaman koo na mahal pala niya ako na ako ang simple girl niya. Namatay siya ng di niya nasabi sakin. Nagiiyak ako sa kwarto niya. Ngayon may anak na ako at may asawa, iniisip ko, panu kung sinabi ko sa kanyang mahal ko rin siga bago siya namatay? Di na sana siya nagdrive nung gabi na yun. That's my sad story.

1. Babae po ako and my son's favorite eh si Spiderman.
2. Sinabi ko sa husband ko a few months ago lang, i know I hadn't been totally honest with him pero di naman niya minasama.
3. Kakadalaw ko lang sa puntod niya 3 weeks ago. Sinama ko rin anak ko, i guess iniisip ko, ayun sana daddy niya if ever. Hay kapalaran nga naman.

Marc Velasco is one of my inspiration. I met him (I don't think he remembers) when he performed live in a friend's bar in Malate, and he entertained us non-stop with his acoustic love songs. And he is a great person too.
