So this is something different. No it's still a turning video but i changed my editing style for this one. In this video I use a spalted oak turning blank and an extra segmented ring to make something extra nice.

Ken, the bowl turned out really nice. How long had it been drying before you turned it? Also, what finish did you put on it? Sort of looked like either shellac or sanding sealer.

The music makes this so wholesome. I was half expecting a resin-pour interlude with the... different music. Any idea what species of oak this was? I'd guess white-oak but I'm no expert.
