This store is two only blocks from the giant OPD headquarters, and the thieves had no fear of the cops even in the middle of the day. It is Lawless Town, do whatever you want to anyone at anytime, no consequences. The City Gov. is fractured, the DA is soft-on-crime and the police department hardly exists to provide protection even around the corner from its HQ; the City cannot provide the basic services. The rifle the store owner used to stop the robbery is probably illegal in CA and I wonder if that is an element which will be investigated or the weapon confiscated now that the video is on TV because everyone remaining in business will want to follow his example.
