Bio
Evelynka is a classically trained progressive/deep house music producer and DJ out of Los Angeles. Her influences run deep and wide—beginning with the brooding, melancholic classics of her youth, transitioning to her high energy techno-centric years at university in Detroit, and finally after immersing herself into the soulful deep-house underground scenes of Eastern Europe, she returned to the U.S. in 2012 to begin her career. After initially only playing local gigs as a DJ in Boston, in 2013 she quickly evolved into producing. Combining dark groovy bass lines, rich melodies and her own vocals, Evelyn’s music fits somewhere between deep, tech and progressive: artistically niche, yet still broadly accessible.
