First time I got a duck on my Jeep I was having a crummy day. It made me laugh, I have 3 now. Thanks to those who just want to put a smile on someone's face.

I think the rubber duck game is a fun thing. I've seen Jeep dashes with lots of ducks! If its not hurting anyone and promotes interaction among people, go for it!!

I first noticed the ducks on Jeeps in Longview Texas last year... thanks to the commenters for explaining what they mean. I think it's cool and good clean fun!

It's a jeep thing!!! Poor bronco owners can only wish they were part of an amazing community. We give each other ducks to say "hey nice jeep jeeper"

I have a Jeep and have never been ducked. Just the other day, I saw a Jeep that had ducks all over the dashboard and I wondered why. Now I know- Thanks for sharing.

We duck jeeps because it because it makes people happy. It doesn't matter what political party you belong to. It's non political. Just be happy. Love your neighbors.

Typical FOX. Didn't do their homework on Jeep Ducking. Jeep ducking was kicked off by Canadian woman Allison Parliament back in 2020. After a bad encounter with an angry stranger left her feeling down, she decided to cheer herself up by buying a bag of rubber ducks and leaving one with a note on a stranger’s Jeep. The kind gesture was shared on social media, where it went viral, and today Jeep ducking is a popular craze all around the world.

Why would putting a duck on another person's Jeep be pathetic? I think their take on this phenomenon is pathetic. It's just Jeep owners playing a game with the Jeep 'family'. It's just cute ducks. This sounds way too cynical to me. There are a lot of weird, and absolutely disgusting things in this world, but sharing cute ducks is 'pathetic'?

The first time my sister got ducked she was so happy. Her dog was at the vet and was so sick. Getting ducked was the pick me up she needed. I was so happy for her.

Honestly the Jeep Ducks are a pretty innocent and wholesome thing. Of all the things messed up in this crazy world I think this bit missed the mark with the criticism...

It's not hurting a soul, it's certainly not immoral and it brings people joy. Duck on.

As a Jeep owner I understand how the rubber duck thing seems silly. It just means someone likes your Jeep. That’s all. It’s something Bronco or Lexus owners can’t understand because they’re to busy looking down their nose at Jeep owners.

Fifty years ago the movie "Convoy" had the hero called "Rubber Duck", with a plastic duck on the front of his rig . . .

As long as it dont mess the other person vehicle up, i dont see a problem with it. Its a good way to bring a smile to someone face. I just hope nobody start to inject the ducks with things & mess the trend up. My next door neighbor, bought a book shelf just to put all his rubber ducks on.

My God the condescending elitism is overwhelming. Why can't you just let them have fun with their duck trend? are you being snobbish because you're not on the inside of this joke? Please don't become a conservative version of The View.

I glued a green rubber duck to the front of my Wrangler TJ back in 2017. Monty was his name. We traveled all over the US!!

Its partly true that the best people don't get promoted. I'm the guy in the crew that's always dripping sweat and who everybody calls to help fix their mistakes yet I constantly get surpassed by slackers that grew up with someone in the office just because I'm a Sabbath keeper that doesn't work Saturdays.

I asked this too, Why all the ducks? An owner said the ducks are given from others saying they like your jeep. You just place it on the Jeep and walk away. 😂

Gosh... how awful that jeep owners have a silly little way to share an anonymous smile with another jeep owner. Probably ranks right up there with the motocyclist give a little low wave to one another. How pitiful that such diverse individuals have found a fun way to connect and share a smile with one another. Obviously we should not encourage tje little joys in life - could accidentally lead to actual momemts of happiness. Gasp - Shock amd awe!
