the video shows the P-63 flew right into the B717 G full speed. either the P63 pilot did not have situational awareness due to flying a low-wing or maybe the fault lies with air traffic control for losing control monitoring the air space however; it's possible the P63 Radios were not working or the frequency being used to talk to Air Traffic was entered by the pilot incorrectly. Knowing the NTSB final report will be Pilot Error on the part of the P63 pilot or Traffic Control

Don't really see the need for an investigation. Multiple videos show that the fighter plane crashed kamikaze like into the side of the B-17. The only question is why? Line of sight for the pilot being blocked, a medical condition which caused him to black out, etc. The B-17 seems like it was faultless. RIP gentlemen.

You have to feel for the families of the deceased. Having to wait for a year for NTSB to render a final report. In the era of AI and quantum computers. It srems reasonable to expect a faster and more efficient process.

Everything that I seen from the videos shows me pretty much all that my eyes need to see. That was an intentional act, basically a kamikaze style murder/suicide mission. The only question is why? And they should release the name of the pilot of the offending aircraft as soon as possible.
