Oh man, I remember this so well. This is the MOST CREATIVE 1 million subscriber celebration video ever published on Youtube. I always loved "You in five minutes" video, but I always wondered why he made it because it was just way too random. Whether it was intentional or not, it all fell perfectly in place. Now, FOR ALL OF THE PEOPLE STILL IN THE DARK:

If you go back to episode one, the very beginning starts out with Julian being confused, and looks down and sees an empty box. This box was the same box from "you in five minutes." THIS WAS THE JULIAN FROM THE BOX. He hears someone making noises PACKING IN THE OTHER ROOM, which was the real Julian. Jeffery warned Julian that Gabriel was coming to his house, which gave Julian about 5 minutes to preform this superb escape by using that box. Julian did not make it to 1 million subscribers in time, but he made it an impossible time limit for that exact reason. This whole time, Gabriel was fooled into thinking that was the real Julian he had kidnapped. I'm really curious to see Mr Timn in his 2 million subscriber mark. ;D

I get it! The box was a type of cloning machine, or maybe just the box that the clones came in. Either way, it gives Julian a clone that does what Julian WOULD have done in five minutes, had there not been a clone. They are not actually the same person, separated by a few minutes, the clones are like hypotheses. Like, "what would happen if i do this?" And then he gets a clone that does it so he can observe the outcome. As Julian got the call from Jeffrey (who is actually one of those clones, he just ate a jellyfish) another clone arrived, and he did what Julian WOULD have done had Julian been the one Gabriel caught. If the clone hadn't arrived, Julian would be at the bottom of the pool. However, he did arrive, so Julian didn't have to do it.
Also, Mr. Timn is a clone of Julian. If Mr. Timn didn't exist, Julian would have gotten hit by a car.
I think maybe the clones are there to "take the blow" for Julian. Like if something really bad were to happen (i.e. getting hit by a car, eating a jellyfish, or drowning), a clone would be created to take Julian's place. This may explain why Mr. Timn is malicious toward Julian.
All in all, this is an amazing series. This is seriously the best series I have ever seen. The work of a true genius.

I remember being a kid and watching these when they first came out and I was so in awe. My roommate said something tonight that reminded me of “Hot Koolaid” and I rediscovered all of Julian’s videos. They’re still as amazing as I remember. Thank you for being a creator. This art will never die.

I remember the day before this Julian tweeting out "tomorrow" and I was freaking out with excitement. What an amazing ending. God, I'll never forget this

This series though. It's just this perfect mix of intense and lighthearted. Like, the first season was more towards the funny side, and this one is more towards the intense, but both had both, and they're just... such a unique find, really. I've heard theories that he'll do another season of this for 2 million subscribers, and I really hope he does! These are addicting :)

When Jeffrey called Julian. Julian got the box and made a clone of him self so he could get away and not get kidnapped so the clone got kidnapped and the clone drown in the pool not the real Julian and the real Julian was the one packing the bag

After getting some help from people in the comments and re watching the video three times I've come to realize this is one of the most genius things ever made.
