The fact that you haven’t taken money out of these envelopes for day to day expenses is as amazing effort! Looking forward to next weeks video and hopefully some positive news for you.

I’m glad you’ve made your children aware of your situation. Growing up in 60s/70s money was very tight. We never asked for a lot as we knew our parents couldn’t buy them for us.
I certainly hope their father is contributing as he should. I watched the ads to help out.👍

Our school do second hand uniform sales. I’m already looking for uniform in next years sizes. Helps to save a bit of money on the jumpers etc the pieces that tend to cost the most money. I found the clothing brand in Poundland did great uniform pieces, like polo shirts and grey pieces, last year. I’m hoping to do the same again this year.

I can't do much but I'll be letting the ads run a few times on this video. I'm always hopeful things will get better soon ❤

A big money saver for me was washing all clothes at cold setting and no longer using tumble dryer. Tumble dryer costs about £1 every time it’s used.

Great video Nicola and hoping things pick up for you soon ❤ if possible, I would love to see more budget meal/recipe videos. I love the ones you already have up!

Sitting here closing out my weekly budget letting your video and ads run a few times. I will be out of consumer debt at the end of the month. I picked up some extra income this month which boasted it a month early. I have 6 sinking funds and a month ahead binder. I had a few month ahead categories funded but with the increase cost of living I’ve had to go back and top them up again. Slow and steady will win the race for us. Keep plugging away and you can do it. Unfortunately the only way I can help is by watching your videos and keep the ads running. I just let a almost 5 minute ad run. Take care😊

I don't have these set up but I feel like they would be useful for me, potentially for my mom as well. Think a trip over to your site is incoming!

In America, we equate "MOT" with "inspection".

Spending the money on Disney will feel amazing, we are buying our 1st home, as exciting as it it the thought of handing over the deposit that has taken years to save is nauseating in a way lol.
Ads watched and praying things improve for you soon, you're doing the best you can with what you have.

Make sure you factor in the costs of rides, food and souvenirs in your Disney fund because sometimes rides are extra and everyone will want a souvenir. Food at Disney is spendy as well! I’ve overspent on gardening this month but thankfully I can draw down from my Summer sinking fund. (I budget for my garden and a couple of day trips to the lake over the summer and save all year for it. I try to adjust my monthly summer budgets (mostly decreasing my grocery budget and pantry challenge) to account for garden and lake trips but sometimes go over, and that’s what the sinking fund is for. If I don’t spend all my sinking fund, I can transfer the excess to long term savings at the end of summer. I usually have a little bit unspent).

Looking forward to next week’s video. I find that a life goal and focus on progress (however small) helps get me through the rough patches. Bc
