I think this was Bruce Lee’s original concept with regards to trapping which he was obviously incredible at. However I believe he changed his thoughts to more if you meet resistance. Retract and attack again.
Think of the double jab. The first May get a little jammed but pull back and fire it again in a fast double succession.
Paul Vunak was an awesome martial artist.
I totally respect his skills and teaching attributes.

I like how the attacker just stands there stiff and the defender slaps and jabs at full speed. It really sells the effectiveness of the move.

If you don't take drugs you will never have to use these skills. I mean come on folks, are you walk down the street every day and I never have the need to use these skills. You should also be know that Most states have what's called duty to retreat and so if a situation arises that a fight is about to happen, retreat, and if you don't take drugs in the first place you probably will never have the need to use these skills
