Oluwadamilola "Lola" Adeyemi, RN '21 is a new nurse, graduated from Labouré College of Healthcare in August 2020. She is a young mother and immigrant from Nigeria who is working to ultimately become a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Boston Healthcare Needs Us
Each year, Labouré graduates the largest class of nurses in Massachusetts. What makes our students different? They are resilient, hard-working adults who come from Greater Boston's neighborhoods and stay here to deliver exceptional care in their communities.
Healthcare outcomes improve when patients have nurses who speak their language, understand their culture, and look like them. Educating healthcare providers who reflect and serve our local community is at the heart of Labouré's mission.
