Next, we head to the bridge over the Rio Cuale, a serene river that runs through the city, where we get a surprise encounter—a crocodile sighting! 🐊 While these reptiles are usually elusive, we were lucky to spot one basking on the riverbank. The Rio Cuale is a haven for wildlife and a peaceful oasis within the urban hustle of Puerto Vallarta.

We continue our journey with a visit to the Puerto Vallarta Naval Museum, a treasure trove of the city’s maritime history. This fascinating museum showcases Puerto Vallarta’s naval past, from its role in early trade routes to its modern-day maritime significance. With interactive exhibits, ship models, and historic artifacts, we dive into the stories that have shaped Mexico’s relationship with the sea. It's an educational and cultural highlight you won’t want to miss!

From there, we set off along the famous Puerto Vallarta Malecon, a lively oceanfront promenade filled with sculptures, street performers, and art galleries.
