I had such high hopes for Tribes Ascend, but HiRez was about making money more than about the player base, and dropped the game for their cash cow SMITE. Took a year of feedback before they finally made turrets have shields (They basically thought CTF was suppose to be Rabbit mode). Incredible music, incredible scenery and map designs, incredible game plays, piss poor gaming company that held it back when it should've went to the top.

The feeling, when you watch this trailer again, see aal the good reviews and can't even find this game on Steam anymore.

This game was way ahead of its time. Hope its re released in a newer engine and with a price, so that they don't have to keep micro-transactions to keep it alive.

Spent years playing all versions of Tribes and wish some gaming company would take a crack at it.. How amazing would this game be in today's world with faster engines and graphics.. I've played many games since my Tribes days and nothing and I mean nothing compares.. I keep hoping I'll check back in as I often do to hear that some company is going to breath life back into one of the best games ever made..

WOW I'm not sure which came out first but the vehicles in this game are JUST like the ones in halo for example the ghost, wraith, and banshee
