Don’t build your base on wooden foundations. Don’t do it. It’s a fire hazard

Obsiously this is more late game oriented but:

1. Ideally you want to build on a stone foundation rather than wood. If the wood catches fire it's a hazard.
2. Instead of reptyros use anubis. They are faster, transport too. Helzephyrs are OK but you could use Falernis too for the same effect plus any kindling for ores.
3. Just build 1 box not 2.
4. Build 2 tomatoes and 2 lettuce farms. Get 1 or 2 Lyleens and 1 jorm for watering. Salad is the best food for workers. Also build 1 small cooling box and put 1 Frostcicle on freezing duty. Put your salad on the outmost left slot in the food box and use 1 stack of honey or candy on rest slots. That will force rest ingredients to be transported directly towards the small freeze box.
5. You will need an electric kitchen for faster salad cooking. So build that and the electric generating pylon. 1 jolthog is fine for electric duty.
Finally 6. You gonna need 2 spas (the upgraded versions) and at least lvl2 beds to make sure workers are always full SAN.

So overall we have: 2 Lyleens, 1 Jorm, 1 jolthog, 1 Frostcicle, 2 Faleris and rest 8 Anubis.

1. Don't place 2 chests... you only need 1. That focuses all drops into a single chest.
2. The Reptyro is fine but IMHO Anubis are better... their Mining skill is also 3 but they transport as well so once all the ore and coal is mined, they will help clean up. The Anubis also has a WAY faster movement speed. You can also breed into Anubis from early game.
3. You don't need to build all the food stuff in the ore outpost. I'm sure you already have farms all built in your main base. Just transport some food to the outpost. I put a bunch of Jam-filled bread in slot 1 and a stack of 2k berries in slot 2 of the feeder in case the Jam-filled bread runs out.

NOTE: Very little ore will be gathered if you aren't either there or visiting regularly. It's not as hands off as I was expecting/hoping.

For the Reptyro, if you are below level 35 and don’t want an headache just grab large eggs around the left side of the volcano… 90% of them will give you a lvl 1 reptyro

Little tip. Unlock 3rd base. Use it as a farm/ breeding ground. Place some ranches to farm what's needed for making cake. Throw in some breeding pens (or what ever they called) just make cake and also put down about 6 or more incubators.

Note that if you follow the water flow near the base, you can end up with a black marketeer, useful for gold farming if you know how to do it (Hanging trap + Campfire)

I do the same location, but I use Anubis and Ragnahawks. Anubis doesn't get stuck on stuff, transports its own mess, and helps me with handiwork, and Ragnahawk will smelt stuff, with nothing to smelt it goes back to transporting. Food is produced in my other base.

Only started playing it last week or so cause its on ps5. After unlocking ore mines II and my friend getting coal mines, moved the mining camp to the NW for the quartz nodes and now i have over 12k berries, some wood and fiber, a stone mine, sulfur mine and a ore mine II running. Its glorious to hear/see that much profiction going on in a small area...

Got 3 menastings, 3 astegons, 3 anubis, penking, patalia, elph aqua, orserk, verdash and a ignis kat running that base! Plus if a raid happens, i can just chuck a pal and watch the bodies fly from above the ledge.

breed a lyleen with mossanda and petallia (mossanda is common and petallia is an alpha or at the first safari zone thing). Throw in a lyleen and a jormuntide (breed the same mossanda with helzephyr) and you will have two pals that fix all the food needs to ajtomize the base.

Now spam anubis as they have mining 3 and also transporting so that they clean up wtheir messes without needing any more helzephyrs. Also by going anubis you can build a construction area where you already have loads of handiwork 4 to do all that for you. Anubis can be breed easily at the beginning, examples: Surfent + incineram, celaray + relaxosaurus, penking + bushi

so lyleen + jormuntide and then fill with anubis is enough. If you want to smelt or there id recommend finding a huge egg in the volcano area for jormuntide ignis as he has lvl 4 kindling which will be needed for pal metal ingots if you dont want to torture yourselves

Tip if you build it: have a stone pit and a logging site build a crusher and mine stone for pal frags.😊

99% if your joining a public server that is not fresh hot off the line you will never get this base as it will be taken as you will have to rush there and hope there is no pals there to stop you from building. Solo based you can get it whenever you want.

If you wanna add a small upgrade remove boxes and put a guildchest. All of them are conected so any base your at w a guild chats has access to all materials in it

I switched out the Berry farms (which are trash because they give no san) for a farm with 2 beegard and (can't remember the name but gives cotton candy, the 2 bees are for hurdurka lurkin any invaders

Also if there is more then 1 resource in the area but you just want to farm ore. Collect the other resources first and build something small in there place like a torch or something. It will stop those resources from ever spawning back.

1. Repts are good, but very late game, hard to get when you’re barely out of the woods.

2. I recommend Tombats since they’re like lvl 10 and you can get like 20 of em running around a couple nights.

3. Breed Anubis since you can’t catch one at low level, just get a Celeray and a Relaxasaurs and they hatch an Anubis guaranteed. I have 6 Anubis running my mines rn and amass about 400 ore in a day.
