Easter Eggs & Random Stuff - Red Alert 2 & Yuri's Revenge

This videos contains all the Easter Eggs I managed to find along with some interesting random stuff.

The Easter Eggs in RA2 are mostly messages that appear when you place a unit over an area. There's the "ACC" logo which must some kind of reference to the design team.

Yuri's Revenge comes with a bit more special things. There are two very good Easter Eggs which both are found in Soviet missions. The first one is the Tyrannosaurus Rex found in the first Soviet mission and the other one is the Polar Bears found in the fourth mission of Soviets.

Other than that, there aren't many special things someone would expect.

The initials in the trees were made by Tim Campbell. ACC are his wife's initials, and he put their wedding anniversary as well. The game designer equivalent of carving your initials on a tree. Except he's carving trees into a video game level instead!
This Easter egg is also found on the Warcraft 3 mission "Blackrock & Roll, " which he made as well.

As i know, ACC represents two Westwood members, and the date is when they married.

I have another one: in the soviet mission 3 Yuri says "My Psychic Dominator is almost online, give up commander soon all your bases will belong to me." if you can't finish the mission 3 min before the Psychic Domintator is ready.
This is a reference to the "All Your Base" meme, one of the oldest and most prominent memes in existence (only that the word meme was not a thing back then).

The three letters & three letters could be a developer's initials and his or her significant other's initials. The date shown is probably their marriage day.

This reference to Apollo 11 Moon landing is somewhat weird. First, since there was no WW2, this lander should have been German, as Wernher von Braun should've had no reason to move to the US. Second — the lander capsule is still there, that means that the astronauts were never able to leave the Moon and died there.

In the Red Alert tutorial, if you blow up the conyard and use the engi to fix the bridge in the northern part of the tutorial map, you also get a hidden message and a barn explodes.

The polar bear's saying "Hi" is the only example I know of the "entered by" trigger being used. I have not figured it out yet for multiplayer maps.

The monkeys and the polar bears are two stuff I didn't know. Cool thing you found in the editor. I have inspected the maps myself too but I didn't look at the triggers. I am afraid you're also running out of stuff to show. It is a dark day for RA2 and TG channel. Heheh kidding, hope you find cool stuff to show about RA2. Looking forward for the polar bear video too.

With the Industrial Plant at 3:41, I think this is just a quirk of the wording. "produce our units much more quickly" is true as it won't take as long to gather the needed resources

finding airbases and other places to capture was really neat, ra3 somehow does not give the same feeling
