You dont grow up in the cages learning pace, its all about learning to working in those tight spaces and working with the players around you. Hench why his plus points are what they are.

When are we ever gonna see a live video of Sam from CFC central ? I'm beginning to wonder if he's an A.I 👀

Kinda the opposite of how floor and ceiling raising players are described in basketball. Floor raisers make bad teams decent, but don't make good teams better and ceiling raisers don't make bad teams better, but make good teams really good. Based on how he described Sancho I'm not sure he sounds like a floor raiser.

In the NBA floor raisers are typically high volume low efficiency scorers (e.g. Demar Derozan or CJ McCollum) that don't create that many easy looks for their teammates, but give you a guaranteed decent baseline level of offense. Ceiling raisers are typically guys who can't score in isolation but are really good at knitting things together or spacing the floor and getting their teammates buckets (e.g. Draymond Green or Derrick White). Really good players are almost always both a floor and ceiling raiser.

I'm not sure the concept applies as well in football because it is so team oriented, but when I think of floor raisers I'm thinking of players like Jermaine Defoe or Daren Bent where they make a bad team decent but don't make a good team much better. A ceiling raiser seems like it would be a player like Toni Kroos who is an incredible passer, but his passing probably doesn't do all that much for a bad team.

I havent met toxic fans more than us Chelsea fans. This project idea will really save us and help us to tone down our expectations

Sancho sounds like a liability. I can't see why Chelsea bought him when there are so many options in the squad. I don't think I will ever understand the Sporting Directors selection policy?

Spoiler alert; in May, you'll regret that you finished in the top 14 this season, and have to pay us £20m+ for this waste of time. ;)

We're hyping up an overhyped player under a novice manager in the prem! 😂

Not a fan of this signing at all. Not even a merseca style winger. I would rather develop and play mudryk and I’m a big criticizer of mudryk. Everyone is talking about Sanchos upside but all I see is his downsides. No defensive output, needs to be hand held to make it to practice, no pace, prefers to play inside. These are all things we don’t need. I hope I’m wrong and he is the Dortmund version of sancho that once balled out with goals and assists.

Just piece of advice, invite people who show up with numbers to back their words. Bringing someone to just talk about a player without showing any stats for a person like me is completely useless. Is he an experienced soccer coach who can judge players by watching ?
