One of the best snares I’ve ever heard!

I got to play a maple DW snare for the first time today at a jam session and was much impressed. It's an extremely controlled drum in tone, similar to the Rogers Dynasonic. What really surprised me is that there was absolutely no snare buzz in the other drums despite how tight and sensitive it was. The more professional I become the more I like DW approach : they fix issues that drummers always had, like snare buzzing in the kit/amps, or tuning not staying the same between gigs. They make solid drums. They maybe fairly neutral in sound, but I think that's a good thing.
