They don’t call it a recall when your phone gets an update. They call it an update.

For those who don't know... In plain language, FSD beta software is totally voluntary and with it comes this statement, "Full Self-Driving is in early limited access Beta and must be used with additional caution. It may do the wrong thing at the worst time, so you must always keep your hands on the wheel and pay extra attention to the road. Do not become complacent." I have it on my car and I use it often. And I also have to intervene when it is doing something unsafe or annoying to other drivers. That's not very often but it happens. Those mistakes are part of the learning that goes with this software development. As more and more errors are found, they get corrected. I'm happy to be part of this project. I'm not happy to see fake news headlines such as this from CNBC. It's spreading FUD, plain & simple.

Totally irresponsible reporting. Tesla does not recall vehicles for these types of issues. They simply release an over the air fix, which costs very little money, and requires minimal effort on the part of Tesla owners. This is a whole lot of nothing.

Phil looks very excited and enthused about delivering the bad news. Over the air update is not a recall in my opinion.

Stop calling a software update a recall. It’s just confusing people who don’t know anything.

Karma NEEDS to catch up to Phil. Just disgusting. Not a recall in the sense that he’s using it. Shame

A lot of folks have been going on about a February rally too and said stocks that would be experiencing significant growth these new year season, any idea which stocks this may be? I just sold my home in the Boca Grande area and I’m looking to remunerate a lump sum into the stock market before stocks rebound

"Recall". It's an over the air update.
If one doesn't study/work hard one end up working for MSM 🤣

calm down media, its an over the air fix coming, not a recall where you need to take the car to the dealer. lmao

The weird thing is of the 360, 000 Tesla owners with FSD beta (myself included) have no complain whatsoever about this. Only the people who don't own and have never sat in a Tesla are so concern for us Tesla owners with FSD beta. 🤣😂

Why do they call it a recall when it's just a download?

an over-the-air update is considered a "recall" 🤣... Updates overnight on its own

Crazy isn’t it. Do I want self driving over night. U know it will take time, we need self driving as humans get jailed for making mistakes, not gun but mistakes

My model Y is almost perfect. Humans are not perfect. What does NHTSA want it to operate? Drivers have to pay attention at all time.

Those who panic sold literally doesn’t know a thing about technology, just like this big boy. Goodluck with that narrative.

Telsa should repay us for the 15k we paid. They are removing the feature we paid for!

Tesla software gets updated ~every two weeks. Each time I look forward to the upgrades I get. Features I have now are nothing compared to what it was just a few upgrades ago. So call it getting Tesla Upgraded not recalled. Duh!!!
