Furious Gary Wilson Throws Cue To Opponent Andres Petrov | Gary Wilson vs Andres Petrov.
FUMING Gary Wilson stunned fans at the UK Championship exit after throwing his cue in anger over his opponent’s frequent toilet breaks.
The 37-year-old snooker star, who is a former semi-finalist, suffered a surprise 6-4 defeat to rookie Andres Petrov. The huge outsider then put out his hand to apologise for his lucky effort, but Wilson responded by launching his cue to the ground.
He then took his seat, but the drama was far from done.
Wilson conceded the sixth frame as his foe extended his lead to 5-1 in the best of 11 clash.
Petrov then headed straight out of the arena following the frame, but the Englishman’s anger boiled to the surface again as his opponent took another toilet break. He initially went back to his seat, but Wilson soon protested with the referee over the frequency of Petrov's toilet visits.
Wilson blasted: “He doesn't need the toilet.
“He's been the first frame, he's been the first frame after the interval and he just went again there now - he doesn't need the toilet.”
The pumped-up Wilson fought back into the match to trail 5-4.

thank you for the video, saw Wilson talk to the referee but didn't quite get what he said. In my opinion throwing the cue is absolutely immature, cause flukes are part of snooker and you have to live with that. Also when you play on the TV table there is always a 2-3 min break for the advertising between frames, so it really doesn't change anything. Very happy for Petrov.

No one every loses a snooker match because your opponent visits the toilet. You lose because you didn't play well enough. And I suspect that's what he's really angry about.

Snooker players drink loads of water when they are not on the table so it's quite normal the other player wanting to go to the loo 2 or 3 times. That's not why Wilson lost the match.

Does not matter, be quiet and wait. You cannot say whether somebody needs a toilet, whether they have a problem and need to urine often, health issues anything. Sit and wait, what does he want the ref to do, say sorry you cannot go to the toilet

Throwing the cue and making a scene while your opponent is at the table is bang out of order, the ref should have warned him in my opinion, it’s unnecessary behaviour. And the toilet breaks, nothing they can do about that, if i was Gary, and it was getting to me that much, I would go out aswell, and make a point of coming back after him, not before.
