I am a 2000 kill Newcastle. Been playing since release and honestly this is a great video with alot of the major tips/ways to play Newcastle. With his buffs this season he is by far one of the best ranked characters and paired with Wattson becomes really hard to get pushed off your ultimate. My team comp this ranked split has been: Newcastle, Wattson and vantage. And we have made it to plat so far. But great video 👍🏽

Just unlocked Newcastle the other day, really glad I found this guide. As someone who's pretty new to Apex (only 2 months), I wanted to start mastering more Legends after maining Lifeline & Fuse. It's funny how, with such a defensive character, I'm learning to be more aggressive in taking smart gunfights/engagements. I've been enjoying NC for sure, picked him up recently to really give him a shot but I'm unsure if I like him better than Gibby. I'll have to keep trying him as it is nice to have a movement ability!

I played Newcastle in arenas and I loved it, so I started playing him in ranked leagues and me and the boys got back to back dubs so I’m definitely a new caste fan! Ps I used to be a lifeline main so being the healer is still cherished by me 😂

I’ve found if you have a Vantage on your team when you’re playing NC, Running a sniper/assault rifle is also pretty good because you can follow up with sniper shots when vantage tags a enemy & also still have the burst damage from a 301 or Hemlock!! Awesome video I still learned something from this 😎

Literally got newcastle today, won all matches so far with him bar one. Wasn't entirely sure on the best setup so ended up here! Good video. Thank you for the tips! Amazed I've not seen anyone really picking him so far!

I got a 2500dmg game but I am still learning him in close quarter combat. I would love to hear your thoughts on this. And you are on the sticks which helps me as well.

You seem to forget the best tip for new castle you take no explosive damage from bang gibby valk or nades ect from his tactical if you stay between the drone and the shield.
