Kyle Rayner, a Green Lantern, saves a construction worker in New York and is bestowed with six additional rings from the Emotional Spectrum. Mistakenly accused of stealing the rings, he seeks answers on Oa. The rings choose him as their users, overwhelming the Guardians. Most rings are destroyed, but Kyle retains his Green Lantern Ring and an Orange Power Ring. The Guardians try to expel him but fail. Just imagine if one of writers actually decided to include black and white lantern ring, then he would've absolutely obliterate all guardians near him, just white latern ring alone in comics was enough to affiliate Anti-Monitor (Mobius) and black lantern user almost took on enitre justice league almost instantly
