I love the subtlety of the animation. The way Brom is shocked at first to discover that the scholarly, talented and sophisticated Ichabod Crane is actually hardcore superstitious.

I just realized something, Ichabod stopped once he had crossed the bridge and looked back at the headless horseman. A key point in this song is when Brom says "I didn't stop for a second look" because stoping and looking back is what gets you caught!

I love Brom's smile when he's showing the sword. He knows exactly what he's doing and he's loving every minute of it. Like he's pulling the greatest prank in the office against a hated coworker.

I like to think the Headless Horseman was real and it wasn't a prank. Either way this creeped me out as a kid and still creeps me out but I love it.

The beauty of Legend of Sleepy Hollow, every character was not black and white good or evil. In fact, personally, Ichabod, Brom, and Katrina were really all in some way unlikable.
