My only question is, why did Mr Jafta move in with their mother? I feel like the mother's choice in men is the reason for discomfort in the family. There's nothing respectful about a Xhosa man moving into a home of his new wife's parents. I believe the house belongs to the wife's late parents. He should have actually paid lobola to Zwai instead of sneaking behind their backs and marrying their gullible mother. I think Mr Jafta is a heist 😅

I am from PE so I really love the familiarity in language. Not jhb Xhosa but PE Xhosa hits different. I think if they want to have a new season they have to bring in Zwai and how he co parents with Mel. And his new girlfriend. Dynamics in Loyiso’s marriage. There’s a lot to explore 😂

Mom Veronica doesn't have a bond with all her children.
Pinky raised her siblings when mom was absent. I see she still feels like a parent. I don't like the fact that she undermines and bullies everyone because she's older.
Zwai is forever angry with everyone. I think he's got unresolved issues.
Loyiso is calm and easily intimidated by his Zwai hence he seems to be always walking on egg shells.
Phelo is the most misunderstood one. Yes he gets them angry but they don't take the to get deeper into his issues. After all he's not a Bala but they expect him to be.

It's a great show. I like that they don't pretend like how many other families do. I also don't see them having another season, because that would require drama.

Zwai & Phelo do not get along bcos of Phelo's sxual orientation. The reason for him not going to the wedding might be that he probably criticized and battled to accept the lifestyle. Zwai is old style older sibling wishing the best for younger siblings but battles when they settle for what u see as unacceptable. I can relate😉. Haaibo mom! doesn't get tayad of men, boys don't easily accept a replacement of their dads. Is it also on Showmax?

They have really deep emotional issues, Zwai and Pinky they seems as if they are the ones who is been there for their siblings and they mother is not open for not being there for the childrens like any black families issues are just being ignored not addressed

The mother is the cause of her children not getting along on yesterday scene it appeared that she attended Phelo wedding while Zwai was never informed about the wedding.

When I watched it for the first time I was bored and I gave the show a chance, to my surprise, I'm really enjoying it. It's way better than the Fuzes and the Ranakas... Tell me guys what's happened Zwai's wife?
