Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Part 9 - Yiga Clan Hideout Walkthrough

In this video we go over part 9 for Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Yiga Clan Hideout walkthrough. Our mission is to get the Thunder Helm from the Yiga Clan Hideout. We travel from Gerudo Town to Karusa Valley to retrieve the stolen heirloom for Princess Riju. After sneaking by a group of blade masters guarding the hideout, we are met face-to-face with Master Kohga - the leader of the clan. A battle ensues and after a swift win, Link retrieves the cherished heirloom. This is our ticket to proving ourselves to the Gerudo princess who then allows us to aid her in calming the divine beast, Vah Naboris! Join me and I'll join you in the quest of Zelda: Breath of Wild!

Thank you! Another tip - you can go back into the hideout after you kill the boss. The soldiers are gone and the treasures are still there

I have a deep rooted fear of stealth in zelda games ever since playing spirit tracks when I was nine, luckily my paranoia meant that I never got caught... but when you whistled in the hideout I freaked out 😅

I got BOTW and a switch at the end of 2020 because I was so overwhelmed working in healthcare in COVID ICU. I didn’t get a chance to play it much because of work, but when I did I would mostly just scavenge for food and cook because I haven’t ever really played video games. But COVID finally infected me at work at the beginning of this year and being isolated for a month, I decided to finally give the game a try and I have gotten really far! This is my first boss I’m going to challenge and your video is AWESOME! I feel like I’m cheating when I’m watching walk-throughs like this but since it’s my first time learning this kind of game, and it’s my first boss or beast I’m actually looking up. I’ve already gotten caught and killed by the sword masters so now, in my desperate attempts to get to the divine beast, I’m here at your page! Thank you for the tips and tricks! God Bless!

Most irritating thing in botw was this. I literally tried around 150 times to get past those frickin Yiga with hawk eyes, oh and this was me with 5 hearts. Then the next time I went there I had 15 hearts that's how much I had trouble with hideout

The Yiga boss was at least easy to understand, and I didn't spend 10 minutes figuring out how to damage him like I did on every Ganon lol.

I had gone to the hideout originally about a month ago, but I kept dying when I tried to fight the Yiga Clan. Today I came back, really needing to get this part down since I defeated the other Divine Beasts, and when the Gerudo woman who had been imprisoned said “if only there was a way you could distract them”, I knew that was a clue but it I still didn’t know what it meant! So I fought the first set of patrollers and Yiga Clan members and beat them, but broke like 3 weapons in the process. Then it occurred to me that I should look up a walkthrough like I did with almost everything else, and thank GOD. I could not keep fighting them. And fighting the boss was so simple! Thank you for showing and explaining things so clearly!

I went back inside after I killed him, well.... after he killed himself, and looted the place without having to worry about getting caught. The gems that were out in the open respawn and the arrows in the jars do, too. I come back occasionally just to grab them.

If you don’t want to fight the clan going in to figure out which drape is the entrance... just run fast and away from the clan and they will quit following, saves your arrows etc
