I have a piece of advice for you (that is beneficial to me): don't quit, keep uploading lessons. I'll watch all of them.

Some of my Filipino, friends are hesitant to speak English, because they're afraid of criticism of wrong grammar...but to my personal point of view i really don't care about my mistakes as long as it is comprehensive and understood.

I am a Singaporean. Originally I learned the proper English grammar in school, but after talking to so many people who don't normally care about using correct grammar for so many years, it made me feel that we actually don't need to be so precise in English grammar so long as the whole world could understand what we said is good enough. However you are an excellent teacher because you emphasize the importance of speaking proper English. Thank you very much.

I just stumbled across your video, and out of your 18 uncountable items, at least three of them are countable items in Swedish. Especially paper (papper) could be both a sheet of paper or a document. It was an eye opener that most items are uncountable in both languages. Most examples felt natural to me, except the example with paper. 🙂 Thanks to you, I learned something new today.

I'm new to your channel and appreciate your lessons and teaching style. I've lived in the USA for over forty years and am still learning. Often, we might not recognize our mistakes, but I believe it's important to speak proper English. My father used to say, "Don't destroy the English language." Thank you for dedicating your time to continue teaching! You got a new subscriber. 😊

At about eleven minutes and seventeen seconds you said "I want a earing" instead of the proper I want an earing. Basically, you have given very good advice to learners of English in this article. You seem to be a wonderful teacher.

I!ve forgotten a lot of things during all those decades. Although I read a lot of English literature and watch a lot of videos, movies, all kinds of things, and even write in English it has just evaporated from my mind. I haven't had many opportunities tobspeak English, though. Your course is a refreshment in many ways. Thank you, Jennifer, and greetings from Zagreb, Croatia

Long time ago, about 50 years, I had my lovely volunteer teacher English teacher. Her name is Sylvia Forrest. She is American. At that time I was in Mattayom 1, M1, the early high school, in Thailand. When I see your family name, it make me clearly realize her name, her face, her kindness.

Thank you, dear! I am also a language teacher. These days, people have started using words like 'advices' and 'informations' and when they are told this usage is wrong, they even argue. Sometimes, one feels helpless among such people because even Google shows some of these words to be correct! Its great to know that there are teachers like you who know language so accurately ❤ thanks again 😊

English is my 4th language ( Latin languages)
I never learned the language as an ESL student. Believe in a full immerssion. Listened and carried a dictionary before cell phones and Google😂 were available.
I watched many 🇱🇷talk shows and British programs which I found to be easier. I always taught that 🇱🇷 swallowed their words😂
I would pronounce what I hear then tape myself so I could work on my diction. Used the phone answering machine😂
I would also work on some old English activity books from a friend's HS kids.
Took me 6 months, I started conversing with people. Many were shocked. I started reading anything that was available including a friend's library books on horoscope😂 reading is the best tool for expanding the language learning.
Like learning how to swim in a swimming pool isn't the same as expanding your swimming skills in the ocean.
READING is the key.
I still "proudly"have an accent and make many mistakes. The type of people who usually correct me is/ are the ones with problems toward a foreign born😂
I laugh especially when I hear them say " he/she do"
Please be my guest and use a red pen😂 love to you all, especially this great teacher❤❤❤❤
