I wanted to share this special moment with you, but like everything else I share on my page, it doesn’t feel right to only share the positive. Dylan & I have been together for almost 10 years, and since we’ve never “accidentally” fallen pregnant in that time, we really didn’t know what our TTC (trying to conceive) journey would look like. Very thankfully, our little gift surprised us sooner than we’d expected. Although our wait wasn’t a long one, it’s not as simple as deciding to start a family & it happening on the first try (for some it is, but not always the case).

Idk about you but I grew up believing if I did the deed once, I’d fall pregnant. But the average time it takes for a couple to conceive is actually closer to 12 months.

We’re thankful every day & never taking this gift for granted 💗

I can’t help but think of anyone going through infertility, IVF or loss. I’m sending you so much love, baby dust, and especially strength for those moments of unknown, waiting & praying in-between. I’m thinking of you & praying you’ll have this special moment soon too 💫

Wow super happy for you, that's such a nice news!

I want to get pregnant so badly and I almost did. Last Friday my urine tests and blood one showed "positive". I was so happy all week, started to imagine how it will be like etc. and then 2 days ago I saw blood on my pants. Went to the doctor, they took new tests etc and we found out it was a false pregnancy (when my body believes it is pregnant but there was nothing there actually).

I am so disappointed and was crying all day yesterday. But it's ok, we can try again and again until one of those tests really is positive:)
