Love this design. I think I could get two lap quilts out of one jelly roll for our Quilting Ministry. I also love how careful you are to be sure everything is on point. Nothing ruins a quilt more than sloppy matching. Diane in NC.

Great tutorial . You could sew also all the strips going with the angle one way and then the others going the other way and then pair up the strips alternately. Don't have to think quite so hard about which way the angle is going then 😊

This is a fun variation on an easy 2 and a half inch strip quilt, and I can see how it can be more deliberate than the traditional "jelly roll race" quilt, which by its nature is very random. I also think this is a good pattern for a gift quilt for someone who might prefer a more masculine or neutral pattern. Thanks Teancum!
