Great video! Just wanted to clarify the mining part (ex miner here). Mining aka. Proof of Work (PoW) is used to verify every transaction in a blockchain. The DAPPS are being executed by the nodes, not by the miners.
Ethereum 2.0 is going to be Proof of Stake (PoS), meaning no more mining on the Ethereum network.

5:10 Not necessarily, you can create permissions on the contract that allow for exceptions at the discretion of certain wallet addresses signing with their private key. Also the immutability is possible through proper code design, but access point immutability is real, meaning that the functions will be the same, but implementation can be changed.

This is exactly why I have no faith in a decentralized internet. The future of crypto will not be with ETH or BTC but with projects that embrace SOME centralization and are able to drain the benefits of blockchain technology while avoiding some of the serious limitations which are extreme immutability and lack of wiggle room when it comes to circumstantial events.

It seems there's an absolute massive amount of people investing into this space that do not have a tech background and most likely just don't care to go out of their way to learn and only care about bitboy moons and uniswap unicorns.

It's important to mention that Ethereum is a blockchain platform, not a cryptocurrency. Ethereum is commonly mistaken for Ether, which is the native cryptocurrency of the platform.
