Unrelated to the theme, but the final battle in Ruina is far in away my favorite moment in any game ever. So much of Roland's, and to a greater extent the entirety of both games, had been the crushing sense of powerlessness of every person in the City. Roland, for all his power, could never view himself anything ever more than a imperceptibly small piece in a terrifying machine he never had any chance of understanding. His only reprieve ever would come from ignorance; lashing out at his peers and fellow man for a hollow revenge and pointless death. And, the guy who embodied that powerlessness, who had quite literally done everything in his power to make himself blind to the City and meld into it's workings, got to spit in the Head's face. Roland is quite literally (at the time) the only person to ever rebel against the Head, and make it away with no caveats.

roland is like a god at this point, he has killed so many damn people and ATLEAST 2 colors, he might aswell be stronger then kali at her strongest
has killed purple tear and the blue reverberation, has also killed members from the hana association including olivier
has defeated the blood red night with angelica and has also defeated the pianist all by himself
after angelicas death he proceeded to kill everything he thought that was responsible for the pianist, fixer offices, syndicates and even the five fingers using the black silences gloves
his memory cards also have art of him killing various characters, including the purple tear, olivier, tommery, yujin, argalia and some others

with all of this in mind, i believe roland could defeat an arbiter or a claw or whatever, basically the STRONGEST fixer in the entire city considering the fact he killed argalia (twice, also killed argalia when he was distorted), iori and a memory of kali (not sure if he did kill the memory of kali but he might aswell have, since hes so strong)

So it feels like this was the original song just from how the notes sound but was then sped up for library of ruina. I wonder if anyone can confirm this for me cause now I’m curious
