Can you install your setup on a Virtual Machine, and later move it to a Bare Metal machine? Or is it better to build from scratch the second time around?

How about same question when changing hardware from one Bare Metal device to another (e.g. if you upgrade or replace)?

Do you have a different SSD for each Virtual Box or do you just use one SSD for all virtual boxes?
