It’s the Si Stibbins Stack reversed. I learned this in 1948 and it was old then. It’s not exactly an ACAAN but it’s a great trick. I’ve fooled thousands of people using it.
I like to let the spectator count their own cards. I have them put the cards face up as they’re dealing them out. That way when you’ve finished you gather up the cards and it an instant reset.

I like this trick with the 4 decks in the pocket idea. What about asking them to pick a suit first, pull out the right deck which you hand to them and then have them pick the number and they deal down to the new number having doubled it twice?

It seems like the easiest way to eliminate having to cut cards to the suit selected is to use magician’s choice. Take 4 cards from another deck, 1 of each suit. On the back of the card with the suit you have at the bottom of the deck put a small mark. Take the 4 cards and put F/D on the table and have spec mix them up. Say to pick your suit we will take turns touching 2 cards and the other person will eliminate 1 of the cards and the last card will be your suit. (You want to eliminate the 4th and 2nd card). Ask spec if he wants to go first or you go first. If spec says he wants to go first say you will touch 2 cards first and I will eliminate 1 card. If spec says you should go first say you will touch 2 cards, and I will eliminate the first card. Tell spec without showing you look at last card which will be your suit. Then tell spec look at without showing you the other 3 cards to see the 3 other suits. Spec doesn’t know you know the suit.

Multiplying a number by 4 will not give a random result.

That's not ACAAN, limiting their choices like that and having them do calculations. ACAAN is a spectator naming any card, another spec (if available) naming any number between 1 and 52, then one of the specs taking a deck of cards that's been sitting in plain view the whole time, taking them out of the box, going to that number, and showing that it's the named card. I think the Berglas method actually called for a borrowed deck the magician has never touched.

Have 4 decks of cards on you. Each deck has a different suited king at the bottom. As you are asking them to choose a suit you can quickly pull out the pack that corresponds with their choice and proceed with the trick.

But Dani Daortiz always makes everyone shuffle the deck a lot before this trick is done lol...

Much superior than the Atomic deck of Craig Petty that costs over $50!!

Might be an okay trick for beginners but this is not an ACAAN. No way near an ACAAN.

Real ACAAN IS THAT, they choose the number and there's no multiplication involved.

Random question: Is that an undersized deck, or do you have massive hands?

May I have permission to perform this. I would like to just add something to it. Dice, so instead of asking them to pick a number from 1-13 they can roll the dice and get a random number. This also adds a distraction so you can get the right suit at the bottom while the rolling and adding up. Also this way the two dice only roll up to 12 and you don't have to worry about them thinking of a King. May I also have permission to record that and upload it to my channel. I will give you the credit of course.

If you "crimp" all 4 kings, with practice, you can cut to he king of choice.

Actually I believe the trick is pronounced A-Kan... A-Cayenne is the trick with the hot chili pepper 😜

Now don't get me wrong this is a very good trick when scripted properly and is the closest to a hands of acaan but give credit to who came up with it
