Fantastic news for road cyclists! I bought an Orca OMX last year, and it’s fantastic in every way. The platform (front to head tube to bottom bracket to rear) is insanely stiff and stable, yet the saddle is more compliant than any bike I’ve ever owned. On poor pavement with 28mm tubeless tires, descending over poor pavement, the bike maintains composure and stability, handles with precision, and holds traction like glue through the corners. Add the the security of discs, and you can drag the brakes without worry when the road, cars, and obstacles demand it. No matter the conditions, I’m smiling.

At the time, I had no idea I was getting Orbea’s new, high-end carbon layup. Now, with the 2021 Orca OMR, it make sense. To add even more compliance, room for 35mm tires, and more affordability makes the OMR ideal for most cyclists. You get the same platform, the same low seat stays, and the same hidden cables at this price point? Wow.

It probably sounds like I work for Orbea. Nope. They’ve never paid me a dime or even offered me a t-shirt. I’m just a super-delighted customer who spent my own cash. The feature set and riding experience are simply perfect. Plus, I love my custom colors. (Mouse Gray and Metallic Graphite with Lemon Yellow highlights and Titan fork.) The Orca line simply rocks.

I recently purchased an orca and love it. My only complaint about it is the front wheel geometry. It is nearly impossible to track stand at a light or turn sharp because the tire always hits the toe of my shoe

Hello. I wonder about the tyre clearance for the Orbea Orca M30? I see that it ships with 700c X 28c, but I wonder if it can accept wider tyres also? Gracias.
