The Unreleased Content of UB Funkeys | Lost Media

UB Funkeys was a game that I remember fondly from my childhood, and it has a lot of lost unreleased content. Whether it be prototype figures or cut content or an entire cancelled update, today we'll be looking at the content that was meant to be, because today we're looking at the lost content of UB Funkeys.

Man 2007-2010 was the sweet spot for my childhood. I remember playing with Funkeys, playing games on Newgrounds, and that was the same time I discovered anime. Those really were the times.

Oh my god. You've unlocked a memory of watching UB Funkeys commercials and always wanting one, but never got to it.

Its great seeing more content about UB Funkeys! The game has gotten quite big recently thanks to modding, which has allowed people to play the game thru modern systems and even without the figures and hub. Very impressive stuff.
However, I do have a few things I wanna point out in the video, as a fellow Funkey fan myself.

1) The "unreleased paradox green funkeys" werent meant for paradox green, but instead meant for their own series of sorts. They only came up as concepts though so its unknown what the series was going to be about, but they were never meant to be in Paradox Green.


2) the "game forge target pack" wasnt an adventure pack, but rather just a concept ad. There was never meant to be a target adventure pack. Maybe target exclusive though. Game forge is the name of the game creator funkeys released in paradox green, which contained ace and mulch. Perhaps the new funkeys were meant to add more game creators?

3) also, its "dream state", not "dreamscape"

Thats about it though! Great video. I appreciate seeing funkeys get recognition from more well known youtubers.

I remember the Wendy’s demo disk for these. You had a small house you could decorate and single player Majong and you could talk to characters. I spent hours making different houses and trying to break out of the demo.

I think a UB Funkeys reboot could be viable! With mobile servers too, and have more relevant pop culture references, I really think it could work. UB Funkeys was pretty cool to me as a kid, I was sad to see it go.

but there is some info you missed, and some fun facts i thought youd find interesting!!:

-there are prototype figures of royalton, thug, and tach!! i think theres also one tajeo figure that actually works, but no one knows where it is currently

-The thug was the henchman of the speed racer world, which is weird because theres also the car minigame that also acts like a henchman. even weirder is that the thug has no ingame model despite being in the game. when it approaches you, all you can see is the shadow that appears under every character in the overworld, and it triggers the car minigame

- rastro did get released along with the other 4 paradox green funkeys, but the game forge promo art shows an unknown variation of rastro, not matching his common, rare, or very rare variants

- Paradox green technically had even more unreleased funkeys, as only the very rare variants were released with only prototypes of the commons and rares being made. this was done because the team knew funkeys was going to get shut down and released the very rares as a final gift to the community

-UB Funkeys has countless unreleased merchandise such as: fairy lights, mouse pads, tshirts, trash cans, etc

-UB funkeys was also going to be a tv show, but was cancelled in favor of the monster high tv show

If cards do count as toys, then the hyperscan was maybe the first toys to life related media. If cards don't count as toys, then the UB funkeys is the first toys to life game. If there is anything else related to bringing toys to life that came out before these, then yeah you know what it means

Of all of the unused content in UB Funkeys, the one that I wonder the most what would've been done with it are the two broken portals in Funkeys Town. Since of all of the portals, those were the only two that were never fixed after an update.

Years ago I made a fanmade location with both of the broken portals that are connected to each other similar to the Dream States known as the Time Periods where one takes place in the past known as Perilous Past and the other in the future known as Parallel Future.

I remember when I was 9 years old and I saw the D.C. Comics X U.B. Funkeys Crossover thing, and I got so excited cause I was a HUGE batman fan as a kid, but.. Sadly.. we never got it. :(
