It does not work if you want to mount it on the sides of your dashboard. I watched the video on Amazon and it showed a center mount a right side dashboard mount and a left side dashboard mount. The only one that feels secure is when it’s mounted in the center and I would still use the Velcro to keep it secure. I mounted it in the center and the first thing my son said was “ Your going to get pulled over for the phone obstructing your view” I’m 5’7” and I have to force myself to sit up to see over the unit! I will be returning it. For the 33.00 I paid on Amazon it’s not worth it! Oh I also drive a 2021 Jeep Cherokee. The mount is not fully universal!
