One dose of Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine shows 80% protection rate: U.S. CDC

화이자•모더나 백신, 1차 접종만 해도 80% 예방 효과

A single dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine has been shown to be 80 percent effective in preventing COVID-19 infections.
This is according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
It observed the effectiveness of the vaccines on 3-thousand-950 medical workers from December 14th last year, to March 13th.
The results showed 80 percent effectiveness after the first inoculation, and 90 percent following the second.
Pfizer previously said its vaccine was 95 percent effective.
Moderna said its vaccine showed 94-point-1 percent efficacy.
