Using “Mutually assured destruction” as a deterrent is not worth the trouble of maintaining a nuclear stockpile. The Philippines has more urgent issues that need to be addressed. Although I personally oppose the idea of nuclear power plants in our country because of the frequency of natural disasters, they would be of more use than nuclear weapons.
