This product works for me. People talking about latency issues probably have a weak sound processor on their computer. I have some latency, but clearly in the video there is practically no latency. Make sure you use ASIO4ALL with it. It's free.

@michaelofpetaluma depends on your system. In Win XP it is possible in Win7 it's not.

i dont see why it would not its plug and play i got a digitech rp 250 fx usb ran that also plug and play and it work on linux, i even try be for other things that was plug and play on linux each time it work

i thought that guitar rig is free? it's not included in the package plus this is really misleading you said it's plug and play there's so many things i need to download and it says compatible with windows 7 until now i havent figured i only got the custom shop and amplitube!!!! this really sucks!!!

um what i do is i run the cable through the output of my guitar amp and do that but thats just me i think you can also set up somesort of playback thingy but youll need desktop monitors

Works fine on my MacBook Pro (mid 2011) / Garageband.
Some latency, but goes away when I restart the app.
The real issue is hum & noise!!!! (Use a Telecaster with noiseless pickups) any suggestions?.

with asio4all and my line in i got less latency in my dell inspiron than this guitar link... maybe it has better guality but much more latency but that is not usefull for me.. i sugest a usb asio sound card... if you dont want crushes and latency!

for metal it is shit before i start playing there comes all kind of noise but no tone i have windows 7 so no crap cabel
