The director literally said that as long as Eliot is alive, Quilot will always exist, which is honestly the most broken thing because even though Eliot ends up with Charlton, he’ll never forget Quinton and Eliot just needs a damn hug. Eliot and Quinton are endgame to me, Alice let go of Quinton too many times and her grief comes out of the fact that she knows how much she screwed up in letting him go. Eliot never got the chance to talk to him, and that tears my heart into pieces.

Honestly, I really don't understand why people keep saying the "original" love story is with Margo. Elliot and Margo have a bond, but that bond is definitely not romantic.
