Thank you all for your wonderfully kind words! Just a quick note - not sure how I forgot to mention this in the video but several of you have asked - this is a HUGE palette that I bought primarily because it's my job to review paint and do the swatch with me videos. However, the Skillshare class talks more about standard palettes with between 8-18 colors or so. I just wanted to give you a little something different in this video so it wasn't just an ad for the class, but that it was still relevant to both palette talk and the Da Vinci giveaway 😁

Funny how I enjoy watching you squeeze paint into a palette. New paint...there is nothing like it! Congratulations on your new Skillshare class. Have a great birthday and thank you and Da Vinci for this giveaway!

I can't imagine using a palette with so many colors on it, but at the same time I do appreciate seeing all those marvelous earth pigments you've chosen to add to it.

Squeezing out fresh paint is so satisfying to do/watch and your videos never let me down. Some of those reds, blues and purples look gorgeous!

Hello Denise, how exciting to set up a new palette! Thank you for all of your tips. I have really had my eyes opened to how you choose your colors and mix them. I used that info in my last painting. It must be difficult dealing with legalities on giving gifts. When in school I used DaVinci and Winsor and Newton. There is plenty of room in my palette because they get used. Watercolor is my fav with colored pencil, inks and pastels. I truly could use these. I also give my time to help others and in turn this helps everybody to be able to communicate since technology is momentarily off. I love your paintings! They are sooo paint rich and yummy. I have Lymes disease, fibromyalsia, had cancer but now in the clear. I loved working as a nurse but injured myself and ended up in a wheelchair. I have a permanent intratheccal pain implant but most don't know what that is. Oh how I hate sappy endings, I fought harder then ever. This included brain surgery which since I am a lefty my speech, language(music and the arts) was affected. Most would not know now but I won't be accepting the art scholership in a prestigious school now. I live on just over $800 a month and I am cared for and art is my ONLY passtime. This isn't meant to be a sorry story but to inspire others to not give up in the face of adversity. After being told I was going to die 3 times, well I just need to get some paintings done. AND I am relatively well but the biggest bonus for me is strenghthening my faith. I don't deserve any credit for any accomplishments. What do I have that hasn't been given to me? I would so love to receive the color set but would also be for whoever that would be. Thank you for your tutorials!!!!

I dont have a whole lot of money so ive been slowly gathering a collection of quality paints to improve on. My first few paints were daniel smith primaries based off your recommendations. I havent taken your skillshare class but youre the one who taught me about the importance of pigment information and how important it is to the usefulness of a well rounded palette. So thank you Denise for being so knowledgeable

So happy for you Denise to see, not only is your subscriber base growing but also recognition for your talent and teaching skills from other YouTube watercolor artists and now leaders in the production of Watercolors. I’m a 63 yr. old newbie to watercolor, and like you, struggle with a great deal of pain. Watching the beauty of the colors come alive on the paper is so enjoyable and relaxing! I’ve not tried any of the DaVinci colors and would be delighted to win them❤️. Who knows, with having the quality, long standing reputation of the DaVinci Watercolors, maybe I could become the next Grandma Moses😉. Happiest of Birthdays to you on Wed.🎂🎉. By the way, I have an annual pass to Skillshare and I’ve definitely been learning from your classes. I was emailed before each of your classes posted and I kept looking each day to see if they had posted. Looking forward to your future classes.

I just recently picked watercoloring back up after years of my painting supplies basically hiding in the closet. Your videos and easy explanation encouraged me to give watercoloring a try again, and boy am I glad I did. I find that the watercolor process is very relaxing and helps take my mind off the day to day troubles of life and work. I wanted to thank you for having all your videos available on this platform so I can enjoy them.

I thoroughly enjoy all of your videos; you pack a ton of useful info about different brands of paint, including particular properties about many of the individual colors. I am not an artist, but I do enjoy painting, drawing, and even coloring. Recently I started purchasing paints to build a palette, but the sheer number of paints and manufacturers is daunting. Thanks for the 2 month Skillshare trial; it will be used to follow your classes in building my new palette. Cannot wait to check out the newest class! Happy Birthday! Hope you have a wonderful day.

I'm in the process of building my portfolio to apply for an art program in my state, but I don't really have any type of studio space to work on my art. That means I often have to pack up all of my supplies and move them from place to place. My only travel set of watercolors is very basic and limiting. Being able to customize my palette with the Da Vinci paints would be an absolute blessing, and seeing as I've never made my own palette before, your class will be such a big help especially when it comes to getting the most out of a small range of colors. Thank you and Happy Birthday!

I always love watching you set up your pallets and I really look forward to being able to use the more unique elements of certain pigments to my advantage while painting. It’s always fun to mess around with something new.

Happy Birthday, Denise. I am excited about the upcoming Davinci swatch video. I recently purchased a few earthtone watercolor paints from Davinci and I love them. They also shipped their sampler for free with my purchase. I love that they have started selling curated, complimentary 8oz tubes. It is a great way to try their paints and experiment with a limited palette. And $19.99USD price point is awesome as well.

Happy Birthday I am just now in the process of deciding which trio to choose in the Da Vinci line of paints. I am a newbie and you have taught me so much already. Thank-You so much for making the world a friendlier place to live. I would like to try out this set of colors just to get me started on my new hobby. I have a distinct feeling I will be purchasing all of them! I am looking diving into your Skill Share Classes.

I'm new to the world of watercolors and haven't hear of this brand, but I am so curious to see how this brand compares to other watercolors I was introduced to as a young artist. I love the colors you have chosen to place in the palette. That is a versatile variety of colors for any kind of painting! Thanks for uploading this video to show us a little bit of what you do to make a palette!

Your Skillshare classes are great! I love the way you have explained color and triads. It's clear and concise! Thank you for the tremendous amount of time you put into them to do it right. Your DaVinci palette is beautiful and versatile. I'd love to explore this triad and found it exciting the colors you pulled from it. Congratulations on your success and being chosen to for this by DaVinci. I've learned a lot from your channel and now Skillshare as I begin my journey to becoming a skilled water colorist. Again, Thank you.

Lovely seeing all those luscious paints! In fact, watching your previous videos on da Vinci paints got me curious...so I ordered 2 tubes to try out: burnt sienna deep and violet iron oxide. Had to order some supplies today (live far away from art stores so thank goodness for online shopping!) -- the watercolors weren't exactly needed but I let myself have a little treat! Really looking forward to seeing how they perform. Thanks for another great video, Denise!

I couldn't be happier with your success. I love your old Davinci. It seems so long since you at it up. But this new palette is pretty incredible. WTG Miss D!

What I’m looking forward to in the Da Vinci Trio watercolors is well, i’ve never tried those watercolors before and also I’ve never used more expensive watercolors. And I am just curious to see how better quality watercolors are like.

I recently found you and LOVE all the advice you give! I am heading over to Skillshare now to check out your class. I am a fairly new watercolor painter and have never tried DiVinci nor are the available where I live, so it would be great to have the chance to try something new. Best of luck to all the entering commenters and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Sooo cool! I love how your art life is growing everyday. I'd like the trio because the things you can do with it amaze me!! The purples look so good, and a blue with those properties???? Aaahhhh! I have a 24 set of white knights, so I suppose I don't NEEEED prof. water colors, but your set could be the boost I need out of this art slump. Good luck to all participants!
